Session Plan



Day 1 - Thursday, April 10th, 2014.

Registration starts at 5:00 PM at Light House studio, Al Quoz 3, Dubai

7:00 PM - Introductory session starts

*      Basics of composition and exposure.
*      Making use of available light.
*      Basics of landscape, portrait and travel photography.


We call it a day by 9:00 PM


Day 2 - Friday, April 11th, 2014.

7:00 AM - Assemble at Abra Cross creek 
Outdoor shoot session starts from Abra Cross creek and  finishes at Spice market. 

1:00 PM - Lunch at Light House Studio, Al Quoz 3, Dubai

3.00 PM : Review of photographs taken during the day and discussion on selected 5 shots from each photographer.

4.00 pm : Session on basic post Processing 

6:00 pm : Q&A session , closure.

Hari Menon's Photography Workshop at Goa on 17th and 18th August 2013


We are glad to announce the first of its series Hari Menon’s Photography workshop - Goa, on 17th -18th August, 2013.

The two day workshop with focus on Travel Photography will be a one of its kind from the expertise of Hari Menon. The workshop will be a good blend of presentations, discussions, outdoor live shoots and assignments to assess and mentor aspiring photographers. Hari Menon would discuss about how to identify your strong points in the market, pricing, business engagements as well as technical details behind mastering the art of Photography.

The live shoot session would be a very enlightening one, a photo walk alongside the heritage rich streets of Fontainhas, Panjim, GOA will be a visual treat. 

Registrations are open for: -

25 Aspiring Photographers, who use a DSLR camera and has an understanding of how it works, with a zest to master the art of photography.

Session plan:

Day 1 – Saturday 17th Aug, 2013:-

11:30 AM - 12:00 PM – Registration at the Venue.
12:00 PM – Ice-breaking session.
1:00 PM – Lunch at the Hotel.
2:00 PM - Classes start. Topics: Basics of composition and exposure, Making use of available light, Basics of landscape, portrait and travel photography.
4.30 PM - Tea break and informal discussions, interactions.
6:00 PM - Session ends. 

Day 2 – Sunday 18th Aug, 2013:-

7.00 AM – Assemble at the outdoor shoot location in Fontainhas (exact location would beinformed later). Morning tea/coffee and cookies will be provided at the hotel.
1:00 PM - Lunch at the Hotel.
2.00 PM - Post lunch session on basics of post processing, Review of photographs taken during the day with individual attention for each photographer and Essentials of marketing your images.
4.30 PM - Tea break and closing session with handing over of certificates.

Hari Menon Photography Workshop








We are glad to announce the first of its series Hari Menon’s Photography workshop - KOCHI, on 28th -29th January, 2012.




The two day workshop with focus on Travel Photography will be a one of its kind from the expertise of Hari Menon. The workshop will be a good blend of presentations, discussions, outdoor live shoots and assignments to assess and mentor aspiring photographers. Hari Menon would discuss about how to identify your strong points in the market, pricing, business engagements as well as technical details behind mastering the art of Photography.

The live shoot session would be a very enlightening one, a photo walk alongside Fort Kochi rich in its European heritage and true cosmopolitan temperament.




Registrations are open for: -

25 Aspiring Photographers, who use a DSLR camera and has an understanding of how it works, with a zest to master the art of photography. We are sure; you would carry your personal laptop and image editing program also along.

Abad Grande Residencia, a luxury hotel on the Princess Street of Fort Kochi lies just about 12 km’s from the main Railway Station and 40 km’s from Cochin International Airport.

*      Basics of landscape, portrait and travel photography.
*      Essentials of marketing your images.

Day 2 – Sunday 29th Jan, 2012.
           
Morning Tea/Coffee and cookies provided at the hotel. All photographers are requested to be present    at the hotel by 7:00 AM.

*      Outdoor session in Fort Cochin – photo walk through Fort Cochin and Mattanchery, Jew Street.

1:00 PM - Lunch at Abad Grande Residencia

*      Session on basics of post processing.
*      Review of photographs taken during the day with individual attention for each photographer.
